Avitel’s strongly expressed ambition is to provide headsets and telephone equipment through safe and secure e-commerce. The customer sells professional communication solutions for workplaces, both within companies and in the home. Their deliveries are carried out quickly, securely and efficiently. Avitel delivers and installs telephone exchanges and can offer various telephone services of the highest quality.
Avitel stands out from the crowd by helping its customers before, during and after a purchase. Customer services are always available, and the staff have long experience and a high degree of skill. Avitel offers a wide assortment of fixed and wireless headsets for various office environments, the home office, and users who are out and about. They also offer a wide selection of audiovisual equipment for various office environments.
The range also includes document cameras and picture and sound units. A widespread problem today is the high level of conversational noise. Avitel therefore also concentrates on auditory aids for fixed and mobile telephony use – customised telephones, hearing loops, ear loops and sound and conversation amplifiers. All of this turns conversation into effective communication.
MediaAnalys was given the honour of having the task of transforming Avitel’s expressed ambitions and strengths so that they were communicated correctly to visitors to the website.
Targets
- To communicate Avitel’s strengths to visitors to the website as they sell much more than just a single product.
- To get visitors to understand that they have arrived at a safe and secure website where they can get all the service and support they need in their choice of product.
- To enhance the experience so that the bounce rate among visitors who choose not to complete their purchases at Avitel is reduced.
Implementation & Results
MediaAnalys carried out an action plan on Avitel’s web shop. The action plan included a competition analysis, traffic analysis and an analysis of the visitor profile on the website. Once collected, the information provided a strong base and showed a clear pattern. Through the conversion strategy, amendments have been made to clarify Avitel’s message about their strengths. A number of bottlenecks identified in the action plan were replaced by clear elements so that visitors are given a clear and simple understanding of the message of the website, thus making the whole decision-making process easier.
Even though some of the measures appear insignificant, they have been shown to be of vital importance in facilitating the visitor’s understanding of, and feeling for, the product and service. Already, the amendments have been shown to have had a very positive effect. However, as markets and buyer behaviour are dynamic things MediaAnalys performs constant feedback and monitoring to ensure that the conversion rate is maintained, and continues to grow!
