Checking SEO using your mobile phone
How well optimised is your webpage for the search engines? This application allows you to test how well optimised your webpage is for a certain keyword. Using a points system, an assessment is made as to how well optimised your page is for the chosen keyword by analysing various elements on your site.
How to use
Enter the URL of the page you wish to test, e.g. www.yourdomainadress.com. Then, enter the keyword you wish to check your page for in terms of optimisation. Press “Send”.
Results
The page you have entered is analysed against the keyword given and the result is displayed. The page is given a total points score between 0 and 100. A deduction is made for each element that is not optimised for the given keyword, depending on the serious of the deviation.
Details
For each element where the page does not meet the criteria for the best possible optimisation, a brief text is shown with some information as to why the page was given a deduction for this. If you click on the brief description, a longer piece of text about the criteria for good optimisation is shown as well as the reasons for the points deduction.
